community street
Community Street was first introduced to the Kilmore Show in 2011 to build on the community group support already existing at the Show. It has been a great success ever since with over 20 community groups being involved.
The purpose of Community Street is to showcase local community groups and the achievements that local volunteers have made over the past year. It is also an opportunity to promote your group, hopefully attracting new members. Groups are encouraged to use the show as an opportunity to raise funds by selling goods or by having a raffle. The Committee will assess each application to confirm that the items being sold are appropriate and are not in competition with other community groups.
