Conditions of Entry
·        Entry Fee $1 for each exhibit.
·        All fleeces must be delivered to the John Kelly Pavilion, Kilmore Racing Complex, East Street Kilmore on <DATE FOR 2021 TO BE CONFIRMED> between 10am and 1pm.  If needed prior collection could be arranged by contacting the steward.
·       All fleeces to be skirted.
·      Prizes are awarded on the following points:
  • Trueness to type (10 points)
  • Character (10 points)
  • Conformity of length (10 Points)
  • Density (6 points)
  • Soundness (10 Points)
  • Evenness (10 points)
  • Handle (8 points)
  • Clean Fleece Weight (30 points)
  • Colour of bloom (6 points)
Regulations
·                 All fleeces must be from a commercial ewe or wether.  No ram or stud fleeces
·                 Wool must be of bulk quality mentioned in each class.
·                 The judge shall have the power to transfer any fleece wrongly classed.
·                 Fleeces with more than 13 months growth may be disqualified at the discretion of the judge.
·                 All exhibits must be shorn from sheep that are the property of the exhibitor
·                 Exhibitors may enter as many fleeces as desired in any class.
·                 Exhibits must be delivered in sturdy (preferable clear) plastic bags or wool packs.
·                 Fleece bags available from Steward on request.
·                 All exhibitors must place exhibit ticket inside each fleece bag.
·                 Exhibits need to be collected on Show Day from the John Kelly Pavilion, Kilmore Racing Complex, East Street Kilmore  between 3.00 and 3.30pm.
